Book Update
This is the web update page for my book, Trees of San Francisco. I've discovered a number of errors in the book, and this page will also update readers on trees mentioned in the book that have, for various reasons, disappeared.

| 17 | The Norfolk Island pine (Auracaria heterophylla) at this location was nearly destroyed by the owners in September 2004. It doesn't appear to have long to live - a very sad loss of the Tenderloin's only landmark tree. |
| 39 | The blue gum eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) featured in the photo on this page was planted by the U.S. Army to celebrate the nation's centennial in 1876, and is known as the Centennial Tree. |
